About the AMA
The Association of Midland Artists is a group of artists who work in various media (painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, ceramics, photography, jewellery, textiles, etc.) united by an interest in exchanging ideas, skills and experience. We are from Warwickshire and surrounding counties.
This year (2022) AMA celebrates 36 years since its inauguration. In that time, we have held many exhibitions and talks, including an exhibition with Leamington’s twin town in Germany, Bruhl. At present, we have 85 members and new members are always welcome to join this friendly art group.

Aims of the AMA
The AMA aims to:
• develop and promote opportunities for members to exhibit their work;
• arrange for talks by practitioners, both professional and semi-professional, about their work and working practice;
• inform the membership of exhibitions and art fairs within the region;
• develop good practice through mutual support and encouragement;
• share information about art in general as it appears nationally.
